Butterfly
The project focuses on a very simple and low-cost element that can be used to create a reserved micro space, which changes according to the sudden needs of the customer within the public environment. The object consists of two fans, a light and a possible battery located under the table. The fans can be mounted on a standard 80x80 table (supplied or not with the two fans) to create screens. In a very simple and immediate way, by placing several tables together or separating them, the lunch - study - work - non-reserved meeting functions can be varied. Butterfly can be used both in large spaces and in small spaces with extreme flexibility and therefore it can be the solution to the problem of basic privacy and conviviality for many settings and thanks to the possibility of creating particular designs and graphics on the fans it lends itself to customization and is a simple element characterizing the environment; The structural components are a flexible/plastic tube, metal support for adjustable LED lights, aluminum shells for storing fans in the non-open position, for anchoring to the table and for housing the battery; Interchangeable and replaceable colored and drawn paper fans. Combinable tables and chairs already in production or custom-designed with a 80x80 square base that can be combined in several islands to create multi-stations. The materials can all be separable and recyclable and have adequate resistance; the feature of the interchangeable paper fans allows you to easily replace the most perishable part and characterize the work environment in an ever-changing way by changing the graphic signs and colors of the same. The materials that can be used are pre-printed aluminum in flexible tubes for lamps, shells in aluminum metal or recycled plastic for the housings of the fans and the anchoring to the table and the battery; fans in pleated paper with multilayer film of sound-absorbing material included. LED lights and battery to be able to position the table in stand alone (without connection to the electricity grid). |

Arabesque
The watch Arabesque, was designed by Filippo Sesti. The watch takes its inspiration from the decorative motifs of the traditional Mauritian art to create a style that blends tradition and modernity using a style that is simple but not minimalist. The prototype presented here is made of betula wood with a diameter of 40 cm, but the project is also designed for setting up large spaces and can be made with larger dimensions, up to 120 cm in diameter and also in corten steel Designer’s attention focuses not only on the lines but also on the use of novel materials; in fact the warmth and simplicity of a traditional material such as wood for the quadrant is coupled to an innovative and all-around material such as aluminum for the numbers and the hands. Every single element is specifically thought and designed for the watch, nothing is standard. In addition to the quadrant, the numbers and the hands are specifically designed. Four overlapping wooden disks with different piercings create a carving effect blending with a weaving effect. The Arabesque watch is the perfect tool to confer style and character to any environment, both traditional or modern. When an object is fine as Arabesque it enriches any space where it is placed. Arabesque can be made in Birch and Oak essence, black or white lacquered, with black or corten steel numbers and hands. Cubò
It's a small box placed in a park. The project had just one rule: the object's size could not be over 1x2 metres. Cubò functions as a storage for rakes and fertilizers and it can double its volume thanks to a series of hinged panels. It's the same concept of the stalls, shelters and newspapers kiosks; a multifunctional object that can “change its skin” using different materials and textures.
