Plan for the Elimination of Architectural Barriers (P.E.B.A.) - Municipality of Genoa

In June 2018, the Municipality of Genoa, in implementation of law N 41 of 02/28/1986, set up the design team that oversaw the drafting of the Plan for the Elimination of Architectural Barriers (P.E.B.A.), approved in February 2021. Today the PEBA can be consulted on the geoportal of the Municipality of Genoa at the address: geoportale.comune.genova.it, by following the keyword PEBA, where the dynamically updated tables can be viewed.

Genoa (Italy)

In 1996, a collaboration between the harbour authority and the University of Genova, originates the Agency for the planning of the port of Genoa directed by Stefano Boeri and Enrico D. Bona. The Agency has to draw up the new P.R.P (harbour-planning scheme). While the architects Rem Koolhas, Manuel De Solà Morales, Marcel Smets, Bernardo Secchi and O.M.A. studio in Rotterdam, are the appointed international experts that have to express reflections upon the project.

Lerici (SP - Italy) / S. Terenzio

S.Terenzio is a small village on the sea in the province of Lerici. Here is a scheme for the planning of a small marina for the laying up of boats, the arrangement of the square and promenade.

Giuliano (NA - Italy)

In 1999 we were invited to take part in the international workshop of planning for the municipal territory of Giuliano (Napoli). We were responsible for the lake Patria.The project includes the recovery of the canoeing centre, the construction of a small stadium, the gym and the new swimming pool. It's interesting the arrangement of the open public space, the new square on the lake and the promenade with rest areas along the banks.
